The Cowboyd band backed the fantastic folk artist Chris Boyd by learning and embellishing his songs to bring energy to live shows and density to recordings. On the first record, he can be heard singing and playing the majority of instruments. The Cowboyd band was formed in 2023, featuring Jack Keith (guitar), Brad Killeen (drums), Chris Boyd (guitar/Vocals), Kira Gelbaugh (bass). We immediately began playing shows, writing, and working up to record the most recent release, ‘As Beautiful As They Are’ in 2024.
